Kitchens, bedrooms and bespoke joinery
I served my apprenticeship in Cabinet making and Furniture making in 1992 working for a local firm making handmade bespoke furniture.
Over the last few years I have been designing, installing and project managing all of my own work. I also work with a local company who can manufacture basically anything to suit my needs.
On the joinery side, oak floors, doors, skirting etc. so no job is too small.
I'd like to think my attention to detail is second to none, therefore always looking for perfection in everything I do.
I am a keen cyclist so having recently moved to Whittingham I do try and find spare time at weekends to enjoy the surrounding hills and countryside.
Areas covered include: Alnwick, Morpeth, Gosforth and surrounding areas.
Kitchens can be classic, painted, contemporary or maybe a mix of all. Standard soft close Blum on all doors and drawers, with pullout storage from Kesebohmer. I will work closely with yourself so you can achieve, not just aesthetically but the most practical design to suit your everyday tasks.
Bedrooms are very personal when it comes to each individual. From hanging, shelving, shoe storage, basically everything can be made to measure, with a wide range of materials on offer, grained boards, bronze mirrors, floating bedside cabinets etc. I also do glide sliding wardrobes, these come with soft close as standard.
Having the background of a cabinet maker there is always a sharp chisel in the box. I still have a great passion for working with wood, so it is a nice change once in a while to get back on the tools. Solid wood doorframes, doors, floors etc. basically any kind of interior joinery.
